Then mo'e powah to ya-
BUT COSINES
DEY DON'T TAKE UP MY TIME,
Dey ain't mine, cuz I'd rathah,
RHYME!

TEXTBOOK SMARTS
CAN'T KICK IT WID DE ARTS,
Sure it's a plus,
But it ain't no must,

'Course everyone needs a fair ration,
of good education,
But dat don't match the sensation,

Apocalypse

I saw the sky darken.
I saw clouds, black crimson.
I saw branches chastise the earth,
        thick eerie wind,
        a foreign sun.
I saw a warm light.
I saw the sky wavering.
I saw supports crack,
        pavement snap,
        the heaven's torn.
I saw two children.
I saw them drop the hopscotch chalk.
I saw them grip the garden hose,
        embrace innocence,
        extinguish Hell,
        their hopeful mist,
        formed a shield,
        a thin blanket,
        a sparkling rainbow.
                God's promise.
                Yet a flood of fire.

I had a nightmare about this. I awoke and had to write about it. The sky was so firey in my dream, and what followed is covered in the poem.

To-morrow..tomorrow..I love ya..tomorrow..you're only a day away! Ahh....sorry..singing a song cuz I'm happy! (about tomorrow obviously!) Anyway, what an amazing poem dear....as usual. Ya know...I do remember you saying something about making comments on my poems..hm.....no comments.....hmm..weird. But I still love ya...and I am getting excited!!! Ha...I never was not excited. The poem rocks babe...it brings out all sorts of emotions..ha...look who you're talking to... *grins*
